BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks - Rainbow Beach

We stayed in a 2 room cabin. It was lovely and clean, however my husband and I were bitten very badly by bed bugs. I'm still so itchy, it's driving me crazy. The kids in the other room were fine. No it was not sand flys or midges, you can see them. The timing and pattern of the bites indicates bed bugs 100%. I'm a registered nurse with advanced training, I know what I'm looking at. I sent 2 emails and made a phone call. Not reply email came and the reception lady was quite rude. She basically told me it could not possibly be bed bugs because they change the sheet and bom regularly. That's great , I'm sure you do, alas a fumigation is due again. Bed bugs do not live in sheet, the bites often appear 1-2 days after, can leave you itchy for up to 2wks, bites are ften in a line as the bugs move. I paid over $700 for the privilege to be eaten my your parasitic infestation. No one has offered me a refund, compensation or even an apology. I will not be recommending Brezze big4 Park to anyone.

Flight was delayed and had contacted the campsite to advise that we would be arriving late; was met by an unfriendly staff member who was rude on the phone. When arriving we had realised we had booked for the wrong date, rather than being accommodating the female staff member huffed and puffed and hung up the phone. Leaving us with no where to camp and paying for a site we never saw.
